Parents of Tridha

We are lucky to have a dedicated and supportive school community, with the staff, parents and caregivers all recognising that the education of our children is a partnership between us.

Parents share in the responsibility of educating children “the Tridha way”. They actively contribute to community happenings – they ensure participation in school events and activities like the Mela and Open Day, volunteer as Class Representatives or PTA members, organise school events, and send fresh, wholesome food for their child’s class.

We deeply appreciate the parents' support in helping us maintain a safe and harmonious learning environment for all.

Tridha prepares students for the real world

“My time at Tridha spanned from nursery to grade 10, marking an incredible journey. Reflecting on the basics, such as taking turns washing dishes during pre-primary, proved to be instrumental in fostering skills for the long run. Adapting to diverse culinary styles, as parents prepared meals, and participating in end-of-day tasks like sweeping the floor became integral parts of my early education. The exposure to handwork, woodwork, and gardening in primary school contributed significantly to my overall development. I fondly miss my days at Tridha and am immensely grateful for the school's role in shaping me into the person and student I am today.”

“I really enjoyed my years at Tridha, and really thrived under the Rudolf Steiner curriculum. I made close bonds with my teachers and peers, and the non-competitive atmosphere of the school really fostered collaboration which I think sets Tridha apart from many other schools. Also the focus on learning through experience and the many trips like astronomy, geography, farming I think have given me a more well-rounded perspective, and were just really fun in general!”

Post Tridha, Riya studied Economics at the University of St. Andrews, UK.

“Tridha has small class sizes that allow each student to create meaningful bonds with each of their classmates and of course the teacher. With the ever-changing class dynamic through the years the only constant is the unity that is ingrained in the students from the beginning of our journey together in grade one.

Block lectures were a safe space to have fun, discover our interests and strengths and also find ways to support each other during moments of weakness. It was a platform for every one of us to shine uniquely.”

Risa D’Souza

IGCSE, 2021-2022

After her A levels from Bunts Sangha's S M Shetty International School and Junior College she is presently pursuing BSc Honours Physiotherapy at the University of Plymouth.

“The reason why this school helped me even in an extremely conventional and by-the-book field like medicine, was because it helped me develop as a human being.

Despite not having conventional exams during what some would call my "formative years", the problem solving skills that I acquired and the keen sense of reasoning that I developed was surely because of the non-orthodox curriculum that was followed.

Empathy is imitated from what the children see, hear and experience in their immediate surroundings. And Tridha facilitates that level of emotional development by creating a culture of kindness, gentleness and understanding. I cannot begin to explain how essential that is in the field of medicine, and I'm forever grateful for the same.”

Hannsal Kansara

IGCSE, 2019-2020

He completed his NEET exams and is pursuing 3rd year medicine at Dr Vithal Vikhe Patil's medical College and hospital.

“In May 2024, I spent ten days living with a German host family in Freiburg as part of a school exchange program. Immersed in a culture very different from India’s, I attended a Waldorf school, made new friends, and was introduced to unfamiliar subjects like health and religion. Despite the language barrier, the classes were engaging, and teachers often switched to English to help us follow along.

Outside school, we explored the charming city, and I cherished my time with the host family—helping in the garden, fetching fresh bread on Sundays, and bonding over soulful German rap while cleaning up after dinner. It felt like a second home, and even now, we occasionally stay in touch.

After Freiburg, our class traveled to Paris for a week-long History of Architecture block. We visited many places including iconic landmarks like the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, and Versailles, soaking in the city’s rich culture and artistic heritage. Each day ended in exhaustion, but also with deep contentment.

This journey was truly unforgettable and one I’ll treasure for years to come.”
