A transformational journey of self-discovery

1

Every year, we conduct two 10-month long courses delving into the nuances of the Waldorf education system.

The courses cover the stages of child development in relation to the curricula appropriate to them, anthroposophical principles, resource material, teaching methods, and classroom management. We aim to help adults navigate a path of growth and discovery, characterised by an enthusiasm for lifelong learning, the intention to be self-reliant individuals, and the vision to find threads that connect diverse topics and disciplines. These qualities make not only effective teachers but also understanding adults who can help the children in their lives grow into purpose-driven adults.

The Steiner Education Course is starkly different from the programs offered by traditional teacher training colleges. Trainees not only learn what it takes to guide and manage a class of young children but also gain a new understanding of themselves through the study of the arts, philosophy and human consciousness.

This inner work is not a side element, but a vital part of the learning process. It sets each participant on a lifelong path of self-transformation—an essential foundation for anyone entrusted with guiding and inspiring the next generation.

"The Steiner course has been an eye opener on education and parenting. The faculty comprising Patrick Sir, Ruth Teacher & Saltanat Teacher have imparted pearls of wisdom which shall always remain with us. The course has been divided in a manner that you receive theoretical knowledge and practical hands-on experience. Painting, music, the art of puppetry, handwork are taught with patience and adults who have probably not done these before, have grown to love these arts. I would highly recommend the Steiner course to those wishing to become teachers but also to parents to enrich their parenting journey."

Steiner trainee & Tridha parent

"I've been interested in Tridha and knew that my baby wouldn't join any other school. My reason to join the course was to simply understand how the students at Waldorf actually learn. Earlier, I would only follow what the teachers said at PTMs but now I have a fresh perspective and a newfound respect and belief in the Waldorf system. Having a phobia of Math, I always believed I would never be able to assist my child for math assignments. However, the way it is taught at Tridha, makes me wonder why I wasn't taught like that! The course doesn't just help one understand a child, but also helps in discovering ourselves."
